Q: Are a set of assembly instructions (directions) included with each product in the shipping package?
A: Yes. All products have a set of assembly instructions included.
Q: What tools or equipment are needed to setup my tent or canopy?
A: The tools required vary by the product. Typical tools are wrenches, cordless drills, screwdrivers, mallets, stepladders and pliers. Larger shelters may require additional tools including a lift.
Q: How many people are required to setup or assemble my canopy?
A: Smaller shelters and tents can be assembled utilizing (2) capable adults. Larger tents and canopies may require up to 3-4 physically capable adults.
Q: How much time does it take to assemble my tent or canopy?
A: Smaller units (14' wide or less) can be erected in 2-5 hours depending on tool availability. Large canopies and tents may require 1-2 full days depending on tool availability. .
Q: How is my tent or canopy secured (anchored)?
A: Each product is different. Some products have ground posts, auger anchors, or foot plates for concrete or asphalt. Some of the commercial grade products have tent stakes and ratchets. Each product has a description of the anchoring device(s).
Q: Is my product UV protected?
A: Yes. All products are etither polyethylene or PVC and have UV protection agents within the cover to resist fading.
Q: Is there any type of corrosion resistance on the frames?
A: Yes. Each product has a powder coated (painted) or galvanized frame components to resist corrosion.
Q: Can my product be assembled or setup on any surface?
A: Yes. Each product can be assembled on concrete, gravel, grass, asphalt, or rocky soil. The proper anchoring device must be selected in each case.
Q: What is the life expectancy of the cover for my canopy?
A: Cover life expectancy varies by product. Products which have a lower weight per sq oz or sq yd will typically have a reduced life expectancy.
Q: Do these products have snow and/or wind load ratings?
A: Although these products perform well under snow and wind, there are no snow or wind load ratings unless otherwise stated for that product.
Q: Do I need a building permit to install one of these buildings?
A: Building permits are typically not needed. However, we recommend consulting with local authorities prior to purchase.
Q: Can a shelter, tent, or canopy be returned with reimbursement?
A: No. Products cannot be returned for reimbursement. In the event of a warranty claim which is honored, the replacement parts will sent to the customer at no charge.
Q: Can an order be cancelled?
A: Shipped orders cannot be cancelled. Custom orders cannot be cancelled. Standard items can be cancelled with a 10% charge to the customer account.
Q: What is the shipping method for my product?
A: Smaller products can be shipped via UPS or Fedex. Larger products are typcially shipped via LTL freight.
Q: What is the approximate shipping time for my product to arrive?
A: Arrival time to the customer can be vary from 4-15 business days for the time of the order. Please note that shipping times can vary depending on inventory levels and demand. Shipping times to Hawaii, Alaska, and other countries such as Canada can be greater.
Q: What type of container or package is my canopy shipped in?
A: Smaller canopies and tents are shipped in boxes. Larger canopies, tents, and shelters are typically shipped via skids.
